Jennifer-owner

Jennifer is the proud owner here at Doggie Do’s. She started her grooming career in 2008, just after her youngest of four children was born. Grooming came quickly and naturally for her. Jennifer has had experience in a variety of grooming atmospheres, from corporate to mobile and small business shops. Along the way she has had the opportunity to train numerous bathers and groomers alike. She has worked with many great mentors and gains knowledge from every interaction. Jennifer enjoys attending grooming expos to learn about new products and to add to her education by attending seminars. When not working she is a busy mom with three daughters at home with two dogs and two cats. Jennifer is a member of the California Professional Pet Groomer's Association and is Pet Safety and CPR Certified.

jane-salon manager

In 2016 Jane retired from her twenty plus years in heating and air conditioning as a billing specialist. She intended to spend the years visiting her four children and eleven grandchildren. During a visit to see her daughter, Jennifer, she spent several days in the salon observing. Very quickly Jane began to fall in love with the pets that came through the door. She enjoyed watching them transform to beautifully groomed dogs during their visit. It didn’t take long before she was hooked and decided that she would move to Bakersfield and help out in the salon. Jane loves being in the salon everyday, Often the person you talk to when you call to schedule an appointment and when you are dropping off or picking up your pet.

Hi there. I started my grooming career in Atlanta in 2007. Since then I've traveled many states grooming elderly dogs, which are my passion. I'm a certified groomer, Reiki master and am certified in pet CPR. I've been in Bakersfield for 4 wonderful years.

I started my career with animals in 2015, first as a pet sitter and then eventually a bather for a local Standard Poodle breeder. I was hired at Petco in 2016 and went through their grooming academy. Since then I have spent countless hours continuing my education, acquiring certificates in things such as Pet CPR/First Aid, Standard Poodle grooming and Salon Sanitation and Disease Prevention. As an owner of Standards, I specialize in them and other curly coated breeds.

I have been in the animal industry since 2019 but I have loved all animals since I learned what they were! I have owned over 50 pets in my life and plan to have a ton more. I have been certified in a bather/brusher course, and pet first aid and CPR certified. I own a 2 year old St. Bernard, so I obviously love big slobbery pups but also cute and cuddly ones, too! The best part of my day is seeing your dogs happy face come in and ready to have a spa day!

I never realized how wonderful working with pets would be. I am a mother of three beautiful children at home and coming in to work with your four legged babies is relaxing and entertaining.  I love transforming them into fluff balls ready for their trim up.  My favorite part about coming to work is building a realtionship with pets who I see on a regular basis.  We become friends and they trust me to make them feel comfortable and secure.  I look forward to seeing your four legged babies for a very long time.

Familiar face are Lexi and Gabby. They have both grown up in the grooming salon and have learned along the way. They help out with checking in and out, cleaning up, keeping things organized and other things we may need assistance with. As they go through school and pursue school activities, they will be found giving us a hand in between and they offer a little extra love to each pet that visits.
